Sarah Shust

Sarah Shust lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, Christian recording artist Aaron Shust, and their three sons. Their youngest son, Michael, has Down Syndrome and Autism, and caring for him has deeply shaped Sarah’s understanding of what it means to depend on God, surrender to Him, and trust in His steadfast faithfulness.

For over two decades, she has served in ministry in a variety of leadership capacities, including as Women’s Pastor and Children’s Pastor at Church of the City in Franklin, Tennessee. She graduated summa cum laude from Colorado Christian University with a degree in Biblical Studies and Theology. Sarah is passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, know who they are in Christ, and live faithfully in light of that truth. Whether teaching, writing, or simply walking alongside others in everyday life, she loves encouraging people to know God deeply, trust Him fully, and live for His glory.

Sarah deeply enjoys the rhythms of home and family life. She loves reading, cooking, tending to their garden, and the wonderfully ordinary work of suburban homesteading.
